'Wingspan's Southern Arizona Gender Alliance and the University of Arizona will sponsor next week's second annual Tucson Transgender Awareness Week.
Events will begin with a free, public forum, "Don't Ask, Don't Tell, Don't Matter: Transgender Veterans Forum," at 5 p.m. Monday in the Anzaldua Room at Wingspan, 425 E. Seventh St.
Wingspan is Southern Arizona's gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community center.'
