Removing patch glue marks

So I tried waxing my eyebrows for the first time. I've gotten so sick of plucking as the light in my bathroom is horrible and when I get in the car I can see all the hairs I missed.
Anyway, I bought a kit and it came with a wax remover. I thought I would give that a try on the glue left on my skin from the patches. All I can say is it worked great. It took the old glue off without any hard scrubbing or scraping. I think I'm going to be using it from now on [emoji3]

I use a citrusy adhesive remover called C-22 which is designed to remove the glue traces from lace wigs, wig tape and scalp - works an absolute treat on patch glue residue, wipes off in seconds, smells nice, and very gentle on skin

You can simply use mineral oil, coconut oil.

I have used a Kendall medical adhesive remover from the pharmacy (no script needed) that contains aloe and works very well.

Those are the ones. I'm sick of the marks they leave, but I may have to try the coconut.

Rubbing alcohol always seems like too much work for me.

I'm in agreement with the rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.  Using alcohol  (on the skin area, not down the throat) and letting it dry before applying the patch seems to help them stay on better too. I'm using 7 day patches so it needs to adhere well.

Any kind of oil will destabilize the glue component and it will dissolve. I use it to remove cold wax and serves for any kind of glue.

Hey.
Veet sell packs with wipes to remove the glue.
I know for Oestradiol patches they recommend using baby oil. I've tried it before and it seems to work well. Stops the adhesive from...well adhering

Just rubbing alcohol. That's what adhesive removers are so whichever is cheapest

Orange oil takes pretty much anything off of everything. Smells pretty good too.

I seem to get some residue left with rubbing alcohol.  The Mylan patch residue seems to lift best with baby or olive oil, out of all the things I've tried.  (I actually like the faint scent of olive oil.  Ah, those salad days... )

Yes, I use alcohol prior to application. I've gotten very good at keeping them on, although I went to twice weekly because of irritation.
I had been using moisturizer to remove the glue and it worked, but it was too much work.
Since I had just got a wax kit I figured I would try the wax remover and was amazed at how easy the glue cleaned up.
I hadn't seen a post relating that so now we have one complete with alternative methods.

Rubbing alcohol has worked for me.  Just remember, if you are going over open skin its going to burn like crazy.

You can simply use mineral oil, coconut oil.

Yeppers, or just some regular hand or body lotion. Soap water alcohol (externally applied  ) no use. Oil works great. WD-40 is the best

I just read the ingredients on my wax remover and the second thing is mineral oil. So there ya go [emoji39]
