Feeling OK - bit of a sore bum, packing still on out front. Getting up and using the loo and having a walk down the corridor is quite tiring! But it is good to do, as you can start to feel as though you're stuck to the bed!

I don't think this is any different to others' experiences.

Morphine turned off this morning - no severe pains so far! Packing off in two days and then we'll take on the next steps...!

Catheter tube managed to get a bit twisted yesterday- that wasn't a lot of fun! Still, major disaster has been averted :)

I'm noticing just how tired any little bit of walking/exercise is making me - I guess that's no great surprise, given what the body's just gone through. You do feel like a little old lady creeping along the corridor and waving at the nurses as they sit at their station.

For those of an older generation I'm put in mind of "'young' Mr Grace" from "Are you being served" and his "you've all done very well" catchphrase, before he had to be whisked away by his young assistants. OK, maybe not quite so much like that.  :o

Catheter twists aren't much fun or when they lift the bag high enough for it to backflow...weird sensation..."Young Mr Grace" I can picture him how...he did have a lot of young assistants didn't he. You sound like you are doing pretty well and it is "steady as she goes" Hope things continue to go the same way for the rest of your recovery

Packing out. Catheter to stay another 3 days due to swelling. Cleaning regime shown. Back to the apartment tomorrow (Wednesday) and then checks with PAI on Friday. It's all moving ahead.

It was so good to talk to you today and I'm looking forward to hearing the reports that the catheter is finally out!
