I am a cis-male who wishes to get FFS. Is this possible?

Would any surgeon agree to it or is it only for transgender people? Does it require hormones beforehand. I do not have any wish to transition or take hormones. I just want to have a feminized/androgynous face. I feel that FFS surgeons best offer the extensive procedures I want. For example, I want to have a more typically feminine forehead and hairline as mine is huge right now. Re-contouring I believe they call it and basically I want a feminine face. Would a surgeon allow a cis guy to pay to have this done or will I have to try and find regular plastic surgeons to do it? Thanks in advance.

Money is king, so yes, many surgeons would do what you please. Not all, but I think most will. After all, it's your decision and your business, not theirs.

As for your question, most any good surgeon will evaluate your motives in the pre surgical interview and if they feel you have expectations that might not be met by the surgery, they may refuse to preform the surgery. I suspect that it's pretty rare that they will reject a request because somebody willing to pay what the surgery costs is pretty motivated. Also, a surgeon might be more willing to go with an androgynous face than a feminized face for somebody who is CIS.

I know a few people did this. There was one patient of Facialteam last year who wanted to have a more youthful androgynous appearance but did not have the intention to become legally female or present female all the time. He just wanted to look more feminine. So in that case it is like any other plastic surgery procedure - if you want it, pay for it and know what you are doing, you can get it. So far I am also not aware that you have to show any documents or diagnosis abouot gender issues to get FFS. Its a different thing from GRS of course. But the procedures involved in FFS are all not that 100% gender-related to require gender issues. A man may want to get a smaller chin or more delicate nose or less prominent forehead or different hairline for any reason. Just as many cis women get procedures that could be regarded as FFS.

Hey, I think you should do something more conservative with a good ffs surgeon, yes it's possible. Don't do a lot of procedures at once maybe do a few to begin with, and see how that goes.

In video below(at 2:50), Dr Speigel talks about using FFS to make a Man's face look less harsh..



His results are generally more subtle than dramatic  which is what maybe required in your case, but he tends to be extremely expensive than  other FFS surgeons.

I've recently had my ffs with dr spiegel, 5th Jan 2017. it was an amazing experience, recovery was very brutal though lol. I plan to share it soon. I'm still 29 days post op .. I plan at 3/6month mark I'll share my experience.

Yes If you want a more feminine or androgynous face yes you can get FFS done but be sure you will be happy with the results, as once it's changed it cant be put back to the way it used to be. Before deciding to go down the transition route I had FFS as a guy, brow contouring and rhinoplasty and I can telly you that although I love the results and cant wait to get the rest of my face done my wife hates the changes.

People who know us well often tend to hate these changes, I believe - because they like us to be as they have known us for a long time or even loved us. So if suddenly the voice looses its dark timbre and pitch or the face looks more feminine and looses some "character", its not something everyone likes. But I guess in the end its our body and we are the ones who can choose what to do, like a woman can decide if she wants to have a child or not, nowadays.

Honestly, why not? I'm pretty sure it's not only for women, you're insurance likely won't cover it however.
