Your second picture is much more passable, but the glasses are so big on your face that they make your face look tiny. To most people, tiny=cute and cute is female. I really do like the haircut, and you do look very attractive.

wishy even though  your face looks male i think you still got called a girl even with short hair because your bangs werent spiked up, women with shorter hair usually do their hair in some fancy way but leave the bangs down on their forehead to look more feminine. most men spike up the bangs with the rest of their hair. but other than that i dont really see why they would call you a girl -_- i just cant see it
