Researching facial feminization can be overwhelming. Surgeons often charge a consultation fee to evaluate you, and each one has their own preferred aesthetics and techniques. They are willing to deviate from their default approach, but if you want something totally different, it's better to find a surgeon whose approach matches your goals.

I made a spreadsheet from my own first-hand experiences, and I'd love to add more surgeons and correct anything that isn't accurate.

P.S. I would prefer not to compare prices or discuss who is better, this is just about techniques.

Under the "Brow" category you're talking about the brow ridge right? Or brow lift?
Btw do you have any information about dr. Marcelo Di Maggio?

Lift, and I don't have any information about surgeons that aren't listed there. I would love more contributions.

Hey, it's a lovely table. You should add trachea shave also. And lip augmentation : dr Spiegel does this as a separate procedure, using one's own 'via dermal grafting'. And for hairline: Dr spiegel does 'scalp advancement'. Maybe include location for each surgeon.

What difference are there in trach shave techniques? I know Spiegel uses an optical scope for precision, but I have no idea about the other doctors.

For hairline everyone recommended hairline incision except FacialTeam and that is noted in the table.

I'll make a note that Spiegel prefers dermal grafts over fat grafts

I will add a location and maybe a picture of each surgeon. Good suggestion

This is great. Seems pretty on par too from what I've come to understand.

what a great spreadsheet, I think you should add MDM and Rossi to the list as they are also sought after for FFS procedures.

:)

I'm happy to add them, do you happen know the answers to the questions? I haven't met them in person
  •

gatita

Unfortunately I don't have the answers... All I know is that they both do Type III for sure... I ultimately decided to go with Lee here in LA

I know someone who has had work done by them will see this post soon enough and give you the info!

What is meant with "brow" and then "conservative/medium/.." . Brow bossing removal or brow lift?

I hope you can eventually fill in the blank spots.

I wish something like this would be available online as a community participation project - like making a table and everyone who deals with FFS can vote for each of these fields to get a statistical picture. Sadly however it would be very prone to manipulation.

Brow lift. It's very hard to assess this, but I put in values whether they wanted to mostly raise the outside or the entire eyebrow

Ok - In that case I think I prefer conservative as I like my brow position mostly. If anything, it should be lifted a bit in the middle, but that should be part of forehead FFS anyways just because the skin has to be pulled up from the type III procedure.

Hi. Do you plan to add Doctor Bart van de Ven to the list?
He is from Belgium and offers type III forehead reconstruction.
