So I started taking Finasteride prior to HRT just shy of 6 weeks ago. I've read of mixed reports of an initial shedding phase starting sometime between 1 and 3 months after beginning the prescription. I feel like in the last couple days I have started to notice significant shedding. Has anyone been through the process that can speak on their personal experiences with fin and whether you went through the shed and when it stopped? The hair seems to be coming out from all around my head, more so on the crown and hairline, but there seems to be plenty coming off the sides and back as well. Admittedly, I have started doing some light tugging and running my fingers through to test my scalp out of paranoia after noticing this and I'm doing my best to refrain. The hair seems to be all different lengths, some super fine, others well established. I also just cut my hair short on Sunday, the afternoon before noticing this. Am I just being paranoid?
