I'm 60 and not on HRT.
An interesting observation I've made that I am inclined to attribute to so-called andropause.
Over the last few years I've pretty much stopped smelling typically male. Underarms are nearly odorless at the end of a typical day. My crotch no longer has a musky smell and even my feet don't tend to smell when I take off shoes. In fact, at the end of the day my underwear tends to have a rather characteristically feminine smell.
Also, I've noticed my skin is far less oily and generally softer with my very sparse body hair nearly invisible now. Facial hair is softer, so much so that I shave in the shower with simply lathering my face with body wash or soap. I can barely feel the tug of the razor against the skin and a blade last for weeks.
Also, I'm generally less horny, cuddlier.
I'm almost afraid to think what would happen if I were to begin HRT.
As I think back on it, The onset of these various effects seems to coincide with the awful rise in dysphoria I began having a few years ago.
Given, it's only and n=1 observation, but gives me pause to consider the possibly causal relationship.
