'Baltimore police are looking for a man described as "armed and dangerous" who allegedly shot and robbed a transgender woman in Baltimore on Oct. 7 after picking her up on a street in Northwest Washington where transgender sex-workers congregate.'

I am sorry to hear about the abduction, robbery, and shooting of a transgendered sex worker in Baltimore.
Transgendered sex workers are indeed found in Northwest DC on Fifth Street, above F Street.  It is a dangerous line of work, more so than than that of a female prostitute.

My heart goes out to those who are transgendered and are sex workers anyplace, especially where I called home for almost 30 years.
