Is Anybody Still Interested in the Susan's Place Minecraft server?

The Susan's Place Minecraft Server has been pretty dead for a while now. A lot of the regulars on it have gone silent and not logged in for months, and new players don't seem to be staying on for very long either.

Is anybody actually still interested in playing on the server? If you are, what's something that keeps you away from it; and if you're not but used to be, what caused you to lose interest?

There is some talk among the staff members of the server about trying to generate more interest in the server and address any problems that might be keeping people away from the server (including a system so maybe people can coordinate playing times as opposed to perpetually being alone), but we are currently not sure if literally anybody is still interested.

Any input on this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I don't have an interest in it but I have a few suggestion.
1. Publish interesting images from Minecraft occasionally
2. Publish impressive videos from Minecraft from time to time.
3. Ask Susan to place a link to Minecraft at the top of the forum page.

You know the word for it - Advertising.

I'm a pretty big minecraft fan, but lately have not had a computer to play such games (stuck to mobile apps). One of my big attractors to a server is activity, if i wanted to play by myself then I'd typically play singleplayer. Though if i get ahold of a pc, I'm laptopbible ^_^ (I'm sure I'll check it out)

This is one of the problems that I have noticed with the server - most of the time it's so empty that if it weren't for the other players' builds everywhere it would feel like single player. My idea (still hashing it out with the admin, Thalia) is to create a Facebook group with the staff that are still interested in staffing the server as admins and mods for the group, so that players could use that group to get to know each other outside of game and also coordinate play times. Of course, it's still in the works, with one of the potential problems being that since it's not hosted on Susan's there would be a potential impact on privacy. We are still trying to figure it all out though.

Would this be something anyone would use?

If there is the demand for it, a sub forum could be created on the site for communication between the players. One possible issue is I don't have a face book account and don't intend on creating one because of privacy issues. On the other hand, here the only thing other site members know about me is what I chose to release. I could be found with the information on the site but it would take a little digging to do so.
