Hello ! Just got to Thailand and am staying at the Dusit Princess . I'll be having SRS with Dr. Chettawut this weekend and would love to meet with some other girls that have or will soon be undergoing SRS as well , I'll need all the tips I can get as far as dilation, pain management, etc . I'm relatively young at 24 years of age non smoking non drinking, it is my understanding that this will help with my recovery  . Will be staying until March 18th. Hope to hear from you soon :)

Hi!

If you dont mind -and are still around and up for it- I would love to hear your so very recent experience, and how it develops. Am currently considering SRS with Dr. Chettawut myself -at age 25- and wonder how everything has gone/is going for you, what kind of a wait you had after initially contacting them.. Any information you are willing to share really.

Thanks, best of luck I hope all goes well for you <3

Hello ! This is my second day waking up in his clinic . Pain is a 2/10 throbbing, very manageable . A nurse slept in my room with me the first night after surgery . The next morning I woke up and went down the infamous stairs, but it is literally 9 steps so it wasn't bad and I haven't vomited at all . Not much else to report at the moment . I honestly am very happy with my decision thus far . I usually got responses go my emails within 24 hours, unless it was a weekend. Ms Som is the one that handles emails and speaks excellent English and will answer all your questions.

Enjoy the first month, as it is usually the best. You are pretty numb and won't be feeling a lot of pain, plus dilation does not take a massive amount of time yet, and #0 and #1 are really easy. Once the catheter is out they will let you go outside of the hotel almost immediately, sooner than the date that appears in the papers you received. Then you will be able to spend some time every day in Seacon Square. Paradise Park is a bit more further, so it may have to wait until you are far more healed.

Word of advice, buy a big tote bag, the kind you would use for the beach. it will be super useful for carrying the donut with you when you move, and specially for the plane back home.

Usually the second one is when things get complicated, so take this one as a supervacation and enjoy as much as you can. I would spend the days with videogames, movies (a long hdmi cable does wonders with the room's TV, and then trying all sorts of restaurants, plus spending time with other patients (Once you are allowed to go down to the restaurant for breakfast is when you will start socialising with the other girls). Things won't be so fun by the second month.
