Women are supposed to have more fat so losing weight may be harder, especially if you take a progestogen. Hopefully, the fat will go to the right places. :) Eat right and you should be fine.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

Weight loss has been just as easy for me on HRT as it was off HRT.  I think your body type and genetics are more important to this than hormones.  Mine makes me gain or lose weight pretty easily depending on if I pay attention to what I eat.

Love is not obedience, conformity, or submission. It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being....  - Dan Barker
