Hi All,

I told work yesterday that over the next 18 months I'll be transitioning. I have a few questions for the forum :)

1) While my senior manager and HRBP were both extremely positive and supporting, they have no experience of dealing with this. Does anyone have standard guides they have used before that could help them?

2) My workplace offer AXA PPP medical cover, this appears to explicitly exclude transgender treatments, does anyone have any experience of getting treatment on private healthcare in the UK?

Thanks,

Sophie

First of all, congratulations on a huge step!!!

I am also in the US so I can only help on Q1.  Lisa gave some good links and as an HR Director, I use SHRM a lot.  They have a lot of great articles and many of them will lead to other resources.

Best of luck!!
