Hmm, wishful thinking from an MTF?

Perusing the forums, decided to look in here, read at least one post talking about their slightly abnormal perineal raphe, so of course I look at mine, and it matches their description, a quite dark line going up the center of the scrotum, mine doesn't exactly stop at the penis though, instead it flares out coloring the entire underside a darker color than the rest of the skin... I don't make a habit of looking at dicks on the internet, so I googled to see if I could find anything like it, and no, not in either pornography or medical images, the are some more pronounced raphe, but they all seem to be a similar color to the surrounding tissue...
I also seem to remember my mom watching a documentary on intersexed people with a level of focus that I thought was unusual for her at the time, although this was many years ago, so the show used the term hermaphrodite...

It sure would explain my drive to become more female, as well as my fat distribution which is mostly male, but there is one odd female looking curve between my chest and stomach that is not present in other overweight men, which I've had for a while but has gotten more pronounced since I've been doing exercises with the goal of feminizing my figure... I have fairly pronounced moobs, suppose I'll have to see if they stick around even after I lose weight. Never heard mention of any hernia surgery, but I never really asked about my birth, other than I know I was born with the umbilical wrapped on my neck, blue in the face...

I lean towards the more common scenario of being a transgendered person rather than intersexed still, but now I wonder what a genetic test might show... Oh yes, testi size is a little small, measuring in at "late puberty" on size charts, borderline really until you factor in that I used a volume calculation for a cube, and the corners would account for volume not actually present...

I wonder how common slightly malformed raphes are amoung trans people?

Mine on the shaft splits then comes back together. It disappears into a wide dark area on the lower half of my scrotum. I have two red scar tissue lines on either side of the center on my perineum. Also as far as i can can tell  I have an opening in my pelvic floor muscles just forward of the anal sphincter muscles and before where the penile tissue passes through. There is a spot there where the skin has nothing under it.

A varicocele is an enlargement of the veins within the scrotum. ... A varicocele only occurs in the scrotum and is very similar to varicose veins that can occur in the leg. A varicocele can result in decreased sperm production and quality, which in some cases can lead to infertility. It can also shrink the testicles.Nov 18

So I came out to my mom... She says "it's funny because when you were born the Doctor said it's a girl!"

#facepalm

I no longer think it's unlikely that I'm intersexed.
