I am 19 with my hair length at standard male haircut length (ie long on top short on the sides).  I am hoping to grow my hair out to shoulder length so i can get a very feminine haircut. I've got a couple of questions to ask since i am rookie at this.

1. What length of hair looks the most feminine?
2. How do you cope with a female haircut in the workplace?
3. What types of haircuts in general look the best?
4. how do you pick the right salon?

Hi Senny

Welcome to Susan's. I hope you enjoy your time here.

Now in Answer to your guestion you need to work out what face shape you are and that will give you an idea of what length hair. Check this out as a starting point http://www.instyle.com/hair/find-perfect-cut-your-face-shape

Once you have worked out you face shape, to find a salon ask around is always the best option. If you have a friend with a hairstyle you like ask them...be prepared to pay more. Discuss a versatile style with your hairdresser so you can wear it at work as well as out. I hope some of that helps.

Fell free to drop by our Introduction Forum and tell us a little more about yourself.
