Ohaeri

Hey all,

My wife recently came out to me as trans and we've been working on jumping through all of the hoops that come with successfully transitioning (mental, physical, and legal!).

I've seen this place come up a number of times and a lot of Google searches have led me here, so I thought joining up and posting would be a good idea. Mostly I'll be asking a lot of questions on behalf of my wife because she is having a rough time with anxiety/depression and feels overwhelmed by the process. I'm a research junky, so it seems natural to pick up the torch. :)

Looking forward to chatting with y'all!

Well Welcome Kat and SO

I'm Jeanette self appointed part time unofficial greeter.  Both of you come on in and have a seat on the loveseat over there ----> Make yourselves at home, grab some beverages and read some posts. By all means ask your questions. You'll get some answers from the many knowledgeable folks here (not from me mind you I'm new and know nothing yet). Feel free to make some comments and also post about yourself and your SO so we may get to know you both.

As I said I'm Jeanette, 64 newly MTF and recently trained in HRT pill popping. (Started in December), Life long crossdresser. Very much in the closet yet. 'nuff said about me though. The moderators will be along shortly with helpful links and your official greeting.

  Hugs,
  Jeanette

Welcome to Susan's Place. Feel free to explore and post where ever you are comfortable on the site but if you experience relations difficulties, you might fine the Signaficent Others section useful. It's not a real active section of the site but I see other SOs come on and take a look from time to time checking for activity. If there is anything I can help you with, let me know.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

  See?
I told you  those friendly moderators would be along. They always show up to welcome people to Susan's and offers to assist.  And they don't even bite unless you break the rules.

  Hugs,

Hi,
You sound like a very supportive SO. That is so nice to hear. This is a safe place to find information and opinions, talk to people who understand, and vent emotions. I hope you will be supportive of your spouse, but it is very important to take care of your needs and feelings as well. I am lucky enough have a spouse who is staying with me through my transition. Her support has been amazing. I wish you both only the best. My name is Monica. I hope to see you around.
If I ever offend you, let me know. It's not what I am about.
