Two family physicians and one endo.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

I go to the Jacksonville Center of Reproductive Medicine out here in Florida. There is one main endo (the one who I first saw and whose name I put on most medical references and such), but there are also 2 other doctors and a number of ARNPs that can handle stuff and collaborate with each other (had blood tests ordered and prescriptions written by a number of them).

You've received a ton of including:
Endocrinologist, General Practitioner (Primary Care, Family Care), Health Clinics...

I think you will find a lot of options - My prescribing doctor is a family Dr that has a huge infant clientele.  His waiting room is full of toys and little kids running around.  At times I wonder what the mothers think when I walk in now.

P.S.  My Dr's wife is a psychologist (?) who wrote a well respected book on the subject of Trans* issues so I feel very comfortable with him.  His wife will be my second letter for GCS if I ever go that far.

Yep I sure did Denise and that makes me feel a bit more at ease.  I was kind of unsure about having an OB/GYN managing my hormones but I guess it makes some sense and it seems to not be uncommon.  Someone made the point, which I think is the main thing here, that their specialty doesn't matter as much as their experience treating trans people.

I see an endocrinologist who now only accepts new patients if they are trans. He said he is trying to slow down his main workload as he is 68 but many other doctors are uncomfortable managing HRT for transgender people so he is still taking new trans patients. They do the blood test right there with a finger prick so that saves a return trip for blood work. He's also an associate professor at the university medical school.

I wish mine did that. He wants 4 or 5 vials of blood.

My GP set up my initial referral to my endo who prescribes and manages my HRT regimen.  My doctor did not feel comfortable overseeing this part of my path.  He acknowledged his lack of experience in this area and referred to the expert.

Local LGBT Center with an informed consent clinic :)

Was a very friendly but serious process. Warm but also didn't take it lightly regarding testing and long term effects/education.
