I used rogaine at one time and it never works. I have been on propecia for 2 years and yes it does work. My hair is not nearly as thin and it is softer to. It also thinned out my body hair, raised my estrogen levels some and it seemed to stop my hair thinning permanently. I also started to get breast buds to. My body in many ways has always been more female like due to VERY low t levels and this helped in many ways. Yes this stuff does work!

I've been taking Finasteride, I did start at 1mg every other day but just decided to switch to the dose that they say you should take which is 1mg daily, it certainly works, my crown was starting to go and it completely filled back in as I caught it early, my hairline was also starting to go back but the left side recovered but my right said has a slight windows peak so I am hoping it thickens up a bit but my hairloss has stopped!

I also feel like it's much more healthier as I did have a bit of a shed when starting it but the hair regrew much stronger and healthier it seems.

Ask your DR to prescribe 5mg tablets and cut them into 4ths or 5ths as it's much cheaper than the 1mg pills!
