The purpose of GID people

I believe that if we discovered what the purpose for anyone to be here on this earth it would become a best seller.  I'm here because I am.  A person who finally discovered happiness.

My inclination is that if GID is not a mistake of nature then we have a 'natural' social role to play in society. Perhaps the need for this role no longer exists in modern society? I think we are naturally inclined to be the teachers, councillors, spiritual guides, leaders... Perhaps our different ways of thinking was an evolutionary advantage to humans.

Yes, we've played important roles in other societies throughout history... healers, shamans, mediators, teachers, visionaries... in contemporary society one place for us is as artists, musicians. I believe we can show other possibilities because of having lived in both/all genders.

Thanks for the reminder about our "natural" roles in other societies as well as being artists and musicians
in our own time.  At least in western societies, it's true that we aren't seen as playing some of our more
ancient or non-western roles, but as we gain respect in our society of today (thru public education,
the media and personal communication -- so call me an optimist! -- we've got a long way to go but we
have come a long way!) our integration into society will bring out the roles that our society needs most.
