Hi,
It has been 5 months since my VFS with Dr. Haben and everything was going good and had a noticable change/ feminization on my voice, weak or croacky at times but awesome in general. Few days ago I unknowingly ate something with high MSG which I have high sensitivity to which resulted to bouts of acidic vomiting. Though I have not noticed any change in my voice I am worried and paranoid that the vomiting might have harmed my surgery results huhuhu. What do you think? Could vomiting at 5 months post VFS harm my surgery results? Was the prescription for an antacid post op prescribed only to protect the suture but after a few months the surgery is stable enough  to withstand vomiting and coughing? I think I just need a reassurance of some sort. Thanks!

At 5 months you should have sufficient healing that vomiting shouldn't cause any harm. The sutures came out months ago and most of the healing should be complete. At this point the main danger would be the same danger to a normal voice and that's abuse. Take it easy on you voice for a day or two until any discomfort passes and you should be fine.
