Is there anyone here from Arizona? I'm looking for a place that my non transitioned husband can go get a pedicure with me and not feel like he is being stared at when he asks for pink polish... I took him to the salon I go to once (I told him even guys get pedicures) but I felt bad because later he told me how badly he really wanted the polish the lady next to him was getting.

Sounds like he's opening up a bit finally, but I still wouldn't push anything on him, it can evoke a weird suspicion, like why do you want me to do things I really want to do!? Lol

Join the Meetup group Arizona Transgender  they can steer you the right way. Another possibility is Senzo Pelo MedSpa. Maria De Nicola who is the owner is a special friend to the community.

Tell your husband that when I was in the Army deployed, I saw a great number of soldiers getting both Manis and Pedis...I'd say keep trying to a sure him it is not uncommon these days for guys to get some pampering.

I regularly get manicures & pedicures and always get a colour.  The staff don't care, as he'd be just another customer and many other men get colours too.  If pink is a bit much, have him start with a more "masculine" colour, such as brown or black.  If he's worried about other customers (no reason to be) perhaps you could find out when business is usually slow in the salon.
I'm a 65 year old male who has been thinking about SRS for many years.  I also was a  full cross dresser for a few years.  I wear a bra, pantyhose and nail polish daily because it just feels right.

If you two go together I don't think anyone will bat an eye, especially if you suggest the pink color.  Just think of yourself as a smokescreen.  Even solo the worst that might happen is that they think your husband is gay or they give him a "you sure you want pink?"  They're in it for the money and if you want pink, you'll get pink.

I miss living in Arizona.
