Okay bad assumption in my part.  NYC pizza is 1/8 inch thick, pick up a slice (triangle NOT square) with your hand, crease it lengthways down the middle and devour.  Don't forget to wipe your chin of the oil after you catch the drip running down your arm.

Chicago pizza requires a knife and fork.  One slice is enough for most mortals.  It's typically 1cm to 2cm think and heavy!

Google it.

I prefer the thin Chicago style that is cut into the squares and not greasy like NY style. Hard to find outside the Chicagoland area too.

But there's really no such thing as a bad pizza. NY style, Pizza Hut/Domino's, even Little Caesar's, cheap microwave, all better than pretty much any other food option.

I agree but I draw the line at microwave pizza.  I think I would rather eat brussel sprouts. :)

Moreton bay bugs for me! If you've never tried them, they are similar to lobster.

Is it as much work?  I like lobster but hate pulling it apart.  Although my favourite seafood is definitely scallops and then mussels.

On the note of pizza. My personal favorite has to come down to some serious deep dish pizza's. Paxti's Pizza, which for me I have two locations which I have gone to, one in San Francisco, and the other, closer to my military base, so it's my weekend pizza. But serious about the deep dish is I would say close to if not an inch thick. The first time I tried it, I was hooked.
If there is one around your area, I do recommend it. I might just end up going for pizza this coming weekend.

My current favorite food, although it's currently out of season here in southern Thailand, is Mon Thong Durian.

MMMMMMMMMMM!!!

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Durian

I really can't deal with Durian. I've had it in all kinds of forms, durian cake, durian sweets, raw, durian "chips". The only ones I could stomach were the chips, as all the flavor and smell had been destroyed. I see why some hotels in Singapore ban Durians in the rooms. A mischievous Thai friend of mine likes "surprising" me with Durian related food, knowing full well I can't stand it, haha.

As for other food I do like, I have always loved Italian. I could eat far too much of that.

I also tried durian, but couldn't get into it.  That is definitely an acquired taste.

Pizza is another love of mine, and lately I've been making low carb versions with cauliflower based "crust" that are really good.  It's a knife and fork affair unfortunately, but better than being fat and certainly better than having no pizza like food at all.

With Moreton Bay bugs (AKA Thenus), all the meat is in the tail, so it's easy to get to. They're actually a lobster species.

I've been doing low carb for a couple years now, and strict ketogenic diet for 18 months.

Check out this modified fat head crust pizza. I make this quite often, better than any cauliflower based crust I've tried.

And... the texture is pretty close to the real thing- no knife and fork required!

Well would you look at that?  I've got all the ingredients at home already.  I am definitely giving this a whirl tomorrow night assuming I don't get stranded by an airline.  Thanks!

I hope not every day.  I do adore Costco pizzas as opposed to the chains.  We have a MOD pizza shop not far from home and their wood fired pizzas are the bomb.
