Gay City News"There have been many portents that transgender rights were in trouble.
The organized campaign against LGBT rights is vicious and often resorts to gutter tactics. As a general rule politicians are leery of pushing public opinion too far. Including transgender rights would permit the GOP to say the Dems want to let men use the ladies' room. In others words, they are just radicals who don't think like you and me.
This is arrant nonsense,
except that it works and would place the politicians sympathetic to our cause on the defensive. The only solution is for the LGBT community to move its educational drive into the straight world."
