I was told to "stop" and embrace the curls... apparently I was frying my hair to get it straight. Who knew.... well apparently the hairdresser, stylist etc.. she knew. And did a deep condition then said WOW YOUR HAIR IS SUPER CURLY! Game me shampoo and conditioner and said come back when it's longer and threatened my life if I flatironed it again.

I think curly hair looks more feminine than straight hair. In my opinion.

It is possible I'm sure KassPurple. And I'm like you... flat iron won't tame that! I get waves at best.

Careful what you wish for Wildflower. Curly hair is quite a bit of work. Just finding shampoo that doesn't make it frizz into a "fro" is an ordeal and gets expensive to style. Even haircuts are a feat... you can get some very bad cuts. Straight hair is much stronger with less breakage. And 5 to 10 years to grow it to your shoulders, you gotta have patience.
