Sweet tea is a, I think, a southern thing.  I have friends in Florida and Arizona that drink sweet tea.  I don't know anyone in Chicago that does.  It's just plain Ice Tea here.

BTW - I only post my true feelings/opinions.  I truly see 100% girl in that picture!  If I didn't think so I wouldn't have said it.

Ice tea is normally tea possibly with a touch of sugar and/or lemon. Sweet tea is a whole different animal. It seems to be a contest to see how much sugar you can dissolve in it. Normally you use simple syrup (50/50 water and sugar boiled then cooled off) because it's difficult to dissolve that much sugar in the tea. It's most common in the southern states from Texas eastward but you find people elsewhere with a really sweet tooth.
