Miss Lux,

To my ear, both pre op and post op samples of your voice are both female sounding. The post op sounds like a much younger lady.

I would consider yours to be a good result.

I can definitely hear the difference and it sounds marvelous :)

I also have to agree with Dani that your pre-op voice was quite feminine.  Nevertheless, your results are fantasitic.  Congratz!!

The first voice was bottom end feminine while the second voice was well into the feminine range. While both should be gendered feminine, both voice could use therapy. The issue is that much of the time they are monotone. The voice would sound much more interesting with more emotions / inflection in it. You have the range available because you use it occasionally but you would sound better if you used it more. One thing that might help is listing to a woman TV or radio announcer and duplicate what they say in the same style. Once you learn to use the range you have, you can change to your own expression.

Yes, they both sound fantastic. I think that in the second recording you sounded younger. I agree with the others that your voice does need some more reflection (that is definitely not an issue with the result of the surgery, just a little bit of voice training).

I think that your surgery was a complete success and I think that you should post some more sound clips later on as your voice heals.

I agree with most of the Ladies here. Both the samples sound feminine. The post-op sample sounds much younger though. Excellent results!
