I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004

Natalie, at 3 and a half months in your body's cells are just getting the message that change is afoot. Physical changes for me started becoming significant at around 5-6 months in and at 10 months are becoming sort of obvious.

HRT is a process that demands patience and time. We have lots of folks here who are still seeing significant changes years into the process.

Please don't be afraid. Your body is a slow biological system, but it will respond over time, and there will be opportunities to improve on what HRT does in the future.

Patience, not fear!

Everyone reacts differently to the change in hormones and 3 month is really early in the game.

Do you get regular blood tests to check your hormone levels? Nasal spray as delivery is something I had not heard of yet. Are you also taking any kind of T Blocker? You had not mentioned it.

Being emotional is a good sign - means that hormones have some effect.

At the two month mark I had several days of impatience. I just had to think that it takes several years for a cis women to complete great growth, so I should not expect miracles.

Good luck and a lot of patience going forward!

Suprefact, the nasal spray, is an anti-androgen that stops testicular production of testosterone.

yes thank you to all that replied. I know i need to be patient it is just hard some times. I need to learn how to be patient. Yes the suprefact is my T blocker my only complaint about it is the price $106 per 2 weeks.  I just wish I started sooner.

That's one thing most of us all have in common, that we would have started earlier.

The emotional experience may be from the anti androgen doing its job. It seems like it can take a while to clear the T out of the body and for the estrogen to come up to full effect. I know as my T dropped out I experienced what PMS must feel like. It was like my world was coming to and end for no specific reason.
