Hello everyone! It's me again :)
So... Before I get to the question I just wanted to give you an update: I finally started HRT last week! YAAAY! I'm so happy! Aaaaand with the help of my mom I also chose a new middle name. I decided I will keep my first name as it is because it is unisex and I like it, but my second name won't be Christina anymore buuuut... DAISY! What a week!
Now let's get to the question:
Since starting HRT I obviously haven't seen any major change, but I did notice that my erections are basically gone, no more need for masturbation (I usually masturbated once a day), less mood swings (??? isn't it supposed to be more mood swings lol) and more concentrated on stuff I work on.
I don't know, am I just SUPER HAPPY that I started HRT or could it be working its magic already?! (Day 5)
Also, I can't wait for my boobies to start growing! How long does it usually take?

Thanks in advance,

Kisses,

Daisy  ^-^

I guess with the erections it depends on how strong your dose is and what your T levels were at.  Many factors can affect your libido....even your mindset, levels of anxiety, feelings of,fulfillment can all affect it.

I'm pretty sure that the, first thing I noticed was the lack of libido....within a week or two.  I too masturbated almost daily.   Now...perhaps once a month....if that.

I'm in my fifth month of HRT and I feel I'm doing well.  In the beginning I was searching for changes...looking for anything which felt at all female.  Well, we are all the frog in the pot as the water starts to heat up....it's hard to notice the changes as we are living and breathing in the changing environment.  To prove a point, I've had breast development for a couple of months, getting more and more visible.  However, last night while I was washing the way the soap in my hand had to go up and over the breasts brought to my attention what I actually have going on there.  They might be the same size as a 12 year old in puberty....but I've actually got breasts...and from what i understand....I'll always have them now.   It takes time, but it will happen....and you'll,have moments like mine where you will revel in the moment of being feminine.

Good luck!

I also started last week and while my ability to have an erection is still quite intact I have noticed a couple of other things showing up already.  First is just feeling more upbeat and happy, but that might be the placebo effect.  Either way it is nice.

The second one is skin sensitivity changes.  The skin on my torso and arms definitely feels more sensitive than before.  This makes me a bit worried about my next laser session...

The coolest thing was discovered last night when the girlfriend and I were being frisky and she was playing with my ear as she often does.  Normally it feels good, but last night it made my entire body tingle.  I've never felt anything like that before in my life and it was incredible.
As our ashes turn to dust, we shine like stars...

All to be expected and no, you shouldn't get mood swings if your levels of hormones are stable. In ciswomen, their levels go up and down every month, that's why they get mood swings. Very different for us as we keep on the same dose and levels pretty much remain the same all the time with some fluctuation, yes but not enough to bring us to tears and panic.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience
