Recieved a call from school on Friday

I received a call from school,my genderfluid son was being teased and picked on.It was taken care of very well.The person whom did this to him was kicked out for 4 days.He was dressed as female and I am glad it was taken of very well.This person whom did this to him,his parents were very aware and not too happy with him at all.His parents came up to me saying my son did not deserve this and he will be punished at home as well for what he did to my son.Looked at them and said thank you.I also credit the principal not ignoring this at all and how he took care of it.Said he does not tolerate this and knows my son is genderfluid.

What's important is that your son can put this in the past. Bullies often leave scars and it's more difficult for younger people to get over bullying than somebody older. Watch your son and make sure that this doesn't leave a lasting mark.

My son is 15 and doing better now.He did stick up for himself too.Has great friends in his life and a couple witnessed it happen.Principal had them come in and asked them what happened knowing they were not in trouble for it

He is and has great friends.School had problems not resolving anything about 5 years ago on treatment on the GLBT kids.This principal stepped in and said this needs to be resolved which has gone very well.My son knows what he likes for girl's clothes when I take him shopping.Loves heels and wedges for shoes
