Frontal neck hair?

Hi All,

I've seen lots posted on facial hair and how to get rid of it.   Likewise I've seen posts on general body hair.  From those posts it seems for most people body hair thins considerably on HRT and waxing can get rid of most of it over time.  Facial hair on the other hand requires just laser if you're lucky and electrolysis if you're not.

My question is, where does frontal neck hair fall in these two categories.  Do you need electrolysis and/or laser or will it disappear with just waxing and hormones?

Thanks,
Paige :)

I have dark hair and relatively light skin, so laser did a lot. I had quite a bit of neck hair too. The grays are another story. I've been tweezing them as they grow out. Any that grow back are much smaller and finer on HRT.

Neck hair is, hormonally, facial hair, and it responds like any other facial hair.  So, yes, laser or electrolysis.  Lucky me, mine is mostly white, so it's all electrolysis.  And it's all wiry, tough hair, so most of them require double zaps, and that hurts!

I never had much body hair, but what I had changed dramatically on HRT.  My chest hairs (about two dozen of them) went from robust and dark to finer than spider silk and transparent.  My leg hair, again never very thick, it likewise lighter and thinner.  I can get away without shaving them without looking like I just wandered in off the commune.

Not so my neck hair.  It is beard, and has to be dealt with as such.

Thanks Ladies, that's very helpful.  Kathy I think I'm in your boat, most of neck is beard like and gray.  I guess that means electrolysis there too.  :-(
