A user made a post which claimed that this web site was biased on behalf of specific clinics in Thailand, and let me flatly state that is not, has never been, and never will be the case. They also claimed that posts about other clinics were being edited, that also is not the case.
The users post was deleted by staff and logged for violating TOS 2 and 20. After seeing the report, I have reviewed the deleted post in full, and without more information have been unable to substantiate any of the claims made in the message. The user is free to email me at
susan@susans.org with more details including urls.
Every post edit is logged, and all staff can see the edits on threads.

In the above instance I fixed a broken attempt by the user to embed their before and after photo.
The edits are also stored in a master moderation log and cannot be deleted from there without clearing the logs totally removing all moderation log entries, something I do to all of the logs roughly every 3-6 months to keep it manageable...

The user also claimed to have sent me multiple emails which were ignored, but when I did a search I found only one email from 2012 which was responded to. I have all emails on file going back to 2004. This was my response to their email back then.

There is no bias by moderators or myself. I will not tolerate any either! With that being said I will soon begin to speak about my experiences in Thailand, but at no point will anyone be censored for speaking about their own experiences no matter which surgeon they choose to utilize.
Posts about surgeons, any surgeon, will be moderated if we feel that the poster is making unsubstantiated claims or made solely to bash a doctor. Something that competing clinics or the independent agents who benefit from them frequently try to do and have done long before I had my surgery.
As we have no way to verify claims made in posts, if we feel the claims made in a post is unsubstantiated, the post will be edited or removed for that reason only. Substantiated generally means was the subject of a complaint made to the government under the penalty of perjury, and or reported on by reputable media sources. (Links to the documentation must be provided in the post in question.)
I made this description of their claims and the results of my investigation public, so that no one can claim we are trying to sweep anything under the rug. If you feel any posting has been unfairly edited you are free to send complaints to myself or any other administrator. All reports are taken seriously.
With that said be aware we keep a voluminous record of all staff actions and the forum software we used is designed to prevent secret actions. All staff can see the edits on posts, and the moderation log. Forum staff can also see the detailed staff action reports. There will be a detailed trail we can use to verify any claims of unethical actions. I also have all emails received by or sent to me on file going back to 2004.
All of this can be used to rebut claims like the ones that resulted in this thread.
