I love my son and he is glad I support him. It was when he was 12 years old, came out as male and female. 15 years old now and is genderfluid. School knows about this and has resolved problems in the past. He has been teased and picked on a few times. He does dress in girl's clothes at least twice a week to school and school is aware he is genderfluid. I know this is my son and love him for who he is.

Clothes shopping for him, it is also done in the girl's section and we do get weird looks sometimes. Do have parents come up sometimes also and give him positive comments. He lives with me now, mom does not support him at all and said it's a phase at first. Has not learned this is no phase and he is finally happy. Loves dresses and skirts, his closet is full of boy's and girl's clothing including his dresser. Includes tops and now hoop and dangling earrings.

Did get both of his ears pierced in December finally and this was his birthday present from me. Has his shoe collection which is mostly wedges, sandals and a few pairs of 2 inch heels. My wife got him 3 pairs of 2 inch heels that he loves for his Christmas present. My wife is also supportive of him and knows he is a normal teenage boy.

Thanks for sharing such a positive story of love and support. To many times I read of younger people having severe difficulties with family it is so nice to read a positive story. As a parent I understand you get the greatest reward a parent can have and that is to see you child happy. It is sad when people still cling to old delusional ideas but the good news is he still has you and your wife  Congrats

Went to my twin sister's wedding two weekends ago wearing a nice blue dress,a pair of wedges and dangling earrings and it went well. Most understood he is genderfluid and my twin sister thought he looked good in everything.

Luckily, genderfluidity is gaining more recognition, as well as other nonbinary group categories.

A recent poll shows that 50% of millennials believe believe gender is a spectrum and has many categories.

Even Jaden Smith models female clothing, and champions gender fluidity.
