I started diy laser treatment at home using the Rio Salon laser scanner system and over six months it's beginning to work but very, very slowly as the laser head only scans very small areas at a time. I now want to go and get professional beard reduction at a laser treatment salon, but would prefer to go to one where (a) transsexuals are treated as normal customers in a friendly and non-judgemental way and (b) where other transsexuals have had reasonably successful results.

I believe Richard Curtis has someone working in his premises at the London Gender Clinic. I don't know the details but if you ring the clinic they should be able to help you.

Thank you very much Ann.  As a matter of fact, since posting my request I have found a fully qualified post-op TS lady who has a clinic near Southampton, not too far from me. I have my first appointment with in eight days time and she tells me she uses several systems and will find the right one, or right combination of treatments, for me. Thanks again for your suggestion.
