Does a tummy tuck affect the possible depth of GCS?

I've lost a little over 100 lbs over the past couple years and am considering a tummy tuck for all the excess skin.

Earlier this week on another thread here, someone mentioned that having a tummy tuck pre GCS can limit the max achievable depth. Can anyone confirm this? What causes the hard limit (that cannot be changed later). How is this outcome different than if Someone was never overweight to begin with?

If this is the case will having a tummy tuck post GCS also affect the depth anything I, or the surgeon performing the tummy tuck can do to prevent depth issues in the future?

I cant imagine how the two could be related but I have seen that some surgeons used extra skin harvested from the abdomen to obtain greater depth. Perhaps that might work in you favor in this instance. . . .

I have read about the extra skin from abdomen being used for depth as well. However based on my available donor material I don't think it would be necessary, but who knows. Would definitely suck if I needed a skin graph and I already had the tummy tuck.

I also, lost over 100 pounds before GCS and I was advised to do the tummy tuck after GCS.

Wrong advise.

The tummy tuck will pull the lower abdominal skin upward and the location of your clitoris and urethra will be significantly higher and it will need to be surgically re-positioned to a more normal location. I am living proof of what can happen. My main problem is that before the tummy tuck, I had a very good urinary stream. But after I am spraying urine all over the place. I have very little effect on my vagina because it is much lower between my thighs and did not get pulled significantly higher.

What Dani said! On the money.

If you're having the inversion done it's pulled down tight and sutured in. As the surgery heals you can feel the tension. It's very similar to the feeling in your forehead after a hairline advance.

Having a tummy tuck would pull the clitoris and hooding back upward. I agree if you want a TT get that first and allow it to heal.
