What can I expect from going up a dose

I have my first 3 month appointment with my doctor next week and am considering going up on my dose. I have seen great results from my current dose but can feel my progress slowing down. Granted my blood work comes back ok, I'd like to go up on my dose to keep speeding things up. What can I expect from going up after 3 months of use?

Hard to say for sure, really. Chances are, you'll just see more of what you've already started seeing and possibly some new things, depending on where you are now. Personally, I didn't really notice anything dramatic (except shark week finally stopped!!) even though my dose had been tripled, but it's been very slow and gradual from the start for me.

I haven't increased my dose since the changes appear to be taking place at the same rate as everyone else describes on average or faster, but also because when I did do that I got hit with the water retention bad suddenly and felt like a blimp.

Went back to my old dose and it went away.

I didn't really notice any changes when my dose was increased, or when it was decreased after my hysto.

Also, most providers would rather err on the side of caution with hormones. If your levels are in the male range for T and E you may have difficulty getting them to increase it.

I think it's going to be a combination of what your numbers look like and the results your seeing. For me my T came back low end of Male and my extraordinary high E came all the way down to high normal for a woman. it's progress! My doc decided to double my dosage to hopefully get the numbers in better shape but I was seeing fairly good results on my initial dose.

I had a little growth, i have a ton of white facial hair that's fairly long and dark in places, and my over all health got A LOT better. I've been on the higher dosage for almost  a month and my voice is cracking a lot more and I've had more chest hair and I don't feel like I'm slowly crashing the closer it gets to shot day. I'm not sure that increasing a dose can speed up changes for everyone but it seems to be changing things for me in ways the lower dose wasn't. Good luck with your appointment!

Yeah I'm exited for my appointment however, my script ran out and I'm missing this weeks dose. I'm not sure if its worth it to get another script if I'm going to the doc next week and possibly getting my dosage upped. Although that might mess up my numbers huh...

Are you getting 1ml vials or 10ml vials? IMO, it's worth it to pay out of pocket for the 10ml vials. My insurance will only cover the 1ml vials, but for me it would leave me with a partial dose and I'd be refilling much more frequently.

I picked up a new round this morning and am back on schedule.
I was going to ask for the 10ml vials cuz I'm moving in a few months and don't want to get left hanging in between doctors. The bigger vials would be 6 months worth on my current dose.

Last month I increased my dose slightly, the doctor suggested doing it a couple of months back if I felt the need as the last set of blood work for me showed about half the T levels I have today... but my latest blood work shows I've reached above peak average male levels (flagged "high" on the system and above average for male/age) and the hematocrit shows slight thickening of the blood.

To be expected if there's a cumulative effect of your T application by shot or gel over time, plus an increase. There's the fact I freedive now as well which is known to cause an increase in RBC count if you attempt to expand the duration of your apnea. I'll probably need some blood drained at some point... which will screw my diving time no doubt.

I've noticed my voice deepening again with the slight increase over the last month, ALL of my facial hair is super prickly quite suddenly, some more hair on the stomach area, things like that. Chances are the doctor and the GIC doctor will both advise me to reduce the dose now in May, though.

***Update***

I've done 2 shots of my increased dose and I've noticed a lot existing changes go farther. So my voice got deeper in like 2 days and my body hair is totally coming in more. I'm getting more leg, belly, and arm hairs. Now I'm just waiting on the face.....
