Are you turning into your (Jewish)* Mother ?

I have come to the realisation ; somewhat reluctantly, that I am in fact turning into my Mother !
Has anyone else had a similar and terrifying conclusion !

Well, in many ways I hope not!    

But she had a casual elegance about her that I am happy to emulate.  She had a favourite art-deco brooch that she always wore on her coat.  I remember it from when I was a little kid.  I now proudly wear that same brooch on my coat as a reminder of her good qualities.  I like to think that she would have wanted me to have it had she known that she had a daughter.  And I thank my brother who had kept it when she died, and who sent it to me when I came out to him.
