OMG! I am so stoked.
The clinic was totally informed consent. I spoke with the doc for like 20 minutes and she was all "Ok, lets get your bloods pulled."
She said we can start T on the next follow up!
I went from thinking this was going to take forever, to BAM!
I am so excited, but the other half of my brain is yelling "Dude, YOu haven't come out to your parents or Co-workers" Not sure I plan on coming out to coworkers at all. They can figure it out or ask or whatever. My folks are another story.
I mean the plan is to go on T and then tell them. Almost matter of fact, This is what I am doing. I have also been thinking of giving them the book Raising Ryland. I mean I think it is a good one for explaining from a parent point of view. The only thing is she spends about half the book talking about meeting her husband, having Ryland, and then the cochlear implants, and THEN gets to the trans stuff. I am afraid my folks will get board before the message is across.
Do you guys have any tips for a 35yo coming out to his folks?
