Very true.

I am always telling people who are worried about their growth rate to watch teens develop. No need to be creepy or anything. We have all grown up as women around us develop. We should know the routine by now.

They get little cones at first. Then the cones grow for a year or two. At around age 13-15, they tend to reach stage 4 and almost overnight they seem..... fuller and gravity starts to effect them differently than it did before, no matter their size. And then they just continue to fill slowly, pretty much over the course of the rest of their life.

If you want mature breasts, it is going to take you roughly as much time as they would take to develop and mature on any other woman... along with maintaining the proper hormonal levels.

Exactly! Which is why you can't expect to be developed in only 2 years. It takes years for both cis and transwomen to develop so it's best to just enjoy the ride. I haven't noticed too much of a difference with how gravity effects, but it's been very subtle. It's really nice to be a lot fuller, though waiting for the day when they are matured is the painfully slow process but it's so worth it! The back pain though...I'm not sure about that one XD But you're right, not in a creepy way seeing how teens develop really does help in showing how our breasts develop. I really do think that progesterone is essential, even if it's in a small way, because it does help develop the milk glands.

Completely agree about progesterone. It totally changed the texture of my breasts. Made them feel like boobs not buds. And pushed me into Tanner 4. Like 1000's of trans women before me. Love it!

Right? I've only been on Progesterone for about 7 - 8 months, and I've noticed a nice impact. My boobs are more, Jigglier? Softer? lol like the texture is just different...not crazy about the puffy areolas that sometimes comes with tanner 4 (the mound on top of a mound, and you can feel the disk deep inside your breast), but it's a thing and I'm just glad I have a really nice pair of boobs that are rounding nicely. I wish someone would do an actual study so it can be proven P really does help.
Though I started at 19, and I'm not sure what effect being intersex has on it, but like I am looking forward to the growth over the next several years.

Lol. The secondary nipple cone. I too am getting to know it well.

You know what that really is?

Conical breast growth is future mass and cup size. When it fills out and changes texture, that is maturity. The newest outward growth is almost always conical. And God knows they grow outward.

So, it just means they are still growing. Even while they fill out below. Eeeeeep.

Not the most attractive boob look. Puberty is awkward. But it means you are still a growing girl.

I didn't get the first nipple bumps. My boobs started growing all around the areola leaving a hole in the center so that area was flat. The area has since filled a little to match the contour of the rest of the boob. I'm about an A cup now at 5 months.  I feel left out.

Lol. The hole in the center is where the glands aren't. The doughnut around it are the developing glands. The conical growth is fat that houses the glandular structure.

Sounds like you are getting all the parts. Just describing them in your own words. And the conical growth hasn't has a huge spurt... yet.

Yeahhhh it's kind of annoying cause it's like, round, cone, round, cone, round. XD puberty is so awkward, guess it's a good thing it lasts so long. Seeing as both side of my family are huge...looks like I'm going to be pretty big too if not at the same size cause of my starting age...just thinking about it, ouch the back pain. lol

Hahaha

I feel your ghost back pains.

I knew I was in store for quite a ride when like, 3 months into transition my doc took a look at my chest, and his eyes lingered... then finally he blurted out, "How big ARE the women in your family?"

You and I may be partners in boobage.

lol that's amazing. lol I was a A cup at 1 month, B cup at 3 months, C cup at 5, D at 8, and now at almost 14 months DD. And knowing that boobs grow on average around 3 - 5 years...lol I'm glad I'll have nice full big breasts, though the back pain XD....right now I hate the awkwardness that is Tanner 4 and I want the awkwardness to pass soon lol. The hardest part really is waiting. My doctor at my one year check up just looked at me and was like, "girl, you need a bigger bra." (this was when I was still a D cup), lol and the women in my family in general range between a 36E - 36G, for frame of reference, though bra sizes are relative anyways lol.

link5019, you definitely following the women in your family, having well developed breasts on both sides you have the genes to be large as well.  Getting to a DD in 14 mo is very fast and it must have been surprising too you to be developing so fast. Buy and wear good supporting bras to help your back and give you a good figure.

If looking at nothing but how fast I started to develop and family genetics I think it safe to say I'll probably get large. Mom and two sisters all alike and large. However, middle sister (same mother and father) . . . Fried eggs. Go figure!

Yeah...I find bras really awkward since my boobs are still growing, which makes them fit somewhat awkwardly but also does help support a lot :D and I've got a nice semi-hourglass in the works for my figure, and my hips and butt have had some nice growth, even bone growth in the hips.

link5019, finding the right bra may take some looking. I would try on many sometimes to find ones that fit and felt good when I would move.  When I would find a bra I though would work for me, I did all kinds of movements and sketching in the dressing room at the store to see how the bra felt when I did all these body motions.  Go to a good dept or bra store and get fitted and see how the correct bra feels.

lol it's not that it's just that wearing bras, because they are still filling out, sometimes I have to readjust because I'm not fully developed yet if that makes sense.

Yes, wearing bras is still new to you and the way you have developed you have a lot to learn about wearing them.  It take awhile for a cis girl to get use to wearing bras and you have developed much faster than most of them.  Many girls are adjusting the straps, etc as they get use to them and many older women do too mostly because they are wearing the wrong bra for them.  I think you should go and get a fitting at a good dept or bra store.

Link, it is like you are describing MY chest! I was between D and DD by 12 months and folks around here would not believe me.

And yes. Large, conical boobs do NOT work well with virtually any bra (sports bras were the comfort option for me for a good stretch). Now that they are finally filling out, bra cups can start doing what they were made to do... but yup, you can tell they aren't quite the right shape still. Bras are uncomfortable in general, but the discomfort from having large, still growing boobs is like the discomfort of being a square peg wedged into a round hole. And the discomfort seems to come from the cups, not the straps.

The larger my boobs get, and the more they fill out,  the more comfortable bras become. But bras are very much a utilitarian and pragmatic thing for folks above a C. Girls new to HRT keep saying how they want big boobs and I keep thinking, "Oh honey, they are GREAT in theory, but a C cup allows you all the fun of larger boobs, while having WAY more options to holster them and move around."

My boobs are a b cup and with straps my boobs fill in the cups of bras, but with strapless bras my the sides of my boobs fill out the right side of the cup, but towards the middle of my chest its still roomy in the cup. That's going to fill out right?
