Sorry if this is a dumb question, Im not smart. Sometimes when I go to walgreens or rite aid and stuff like that i see stuff on the shelves that are like, "testosterone boosters" for men. Is it possible for my body to change just from eating that stuff? it always says on the bottle: "not for people with testosterone deficiencies" so i dont get what its supposed to even do. Would it even be safe to try?

I would have gone to a doctor a long time ago to get T, but I still live with my parents and have no way of transporting myself without them, so idk im a lil desperate

It's really not going to do anything for you. Testosterone boosters are for bio males that are looking to increase their natural testosterone production. These boosters are comprised of herbal supplements and, like most herbal products, there's no guarantee that they actually work (or work in any significant measure, anyway). The boosters are not testosterone and contain no traces of testosterone.

Think of the boosters like an expansion pack for a game: If you don't have the actual game installed, the expansion pack is going to be useless to you.

Furthermore, no one should attempt to do any meddling with their hormonal composition without the guidance of trained medical professionals. It's really, really unsafe. Endocrinologists don't just check your T and E levels, they also check things like your liver function (which T can sometimes negatively impact), cholesterol, triglycerides, RBC count, hematocrit... the list is fairly extensive. I know it can be extremely frustrating playing the waiting game, but it's the absolute safest way to go about things.

I know it blows, dude. I'd say the waiting period between the knowing you want to do something and the actual process of doing it is the most difficult part.
Have you spoken to your parents about your situation in any way?

During one of my "trying to convince myself I am still a bio male and not a girl" (I am bio male) phases a while back, I got some of these T boosters and they did nothing, not a single thing.  They were supposed to increase sex drive, increase energy, help you build more muscle, etc.  It did none of that, it didn't even make my facial hair grow faster.  I think this is the "garcinia cambogia" of hormone supps.

"Hey guys, combine Garcinia Cambogia with a reduction in calorie intake and regular exersize  regiment to lose weight!  It's a wonder drug!"  Well, duh, your going to lose weight doing those other two things without GC.  Just replace "GC" with "T" and "lose weight" with "build muscle" and....you get the picture I'm sure.  They are a waste of money, especially for ftm.

You need the real hormone as prescribed by a doctor in the correct amounts (far more than anything a drugstore supplement will give you) and regularly to see any proper effect. T is usually a government-regulated substance... anything you can just pick up on a store shelf isn't going to contain it.
