Okay so I have a delima and cannot seem to find an offcial answer. When it comes to being a pre op trans women are there any laws or rules regarding having your girly bits bulge while out in public? Generally I keep things compressed with a gaf so it looks smooth. But when I do yoga or just need a break I feel more comfortable leaving things free. When I was just crossdressing I didn't mind letting the bulge visible, wearing yoga pants, even if I would get an erection, becauase it is part of who I am. Like women wear yoga pants and let their camel toe show, but what about tans women? Or is this a big no no. Any input or info is appreciated! Thanks!

Welcome to Susan's Place. It boils down to how comfortable you are in that environment and how out you are. Most of us are uncomfortable with the bulge showing but there is no rule about it. Everybody has their own solution to the problem, and in my case, I found a panty girdle worked best however it's a rarely used solution.

We issue to all new members the following links so you will best be able to use the web site.

Cupcake, laws not really -- you're definitely in the realm of street legal for western jurisdictions. Personally I couldn't have been comfortable letting it hang out while trying to pass but then I don't pass anyway so that point is moot.

The only actual laws are that you keep it covered.  A bulge under clothes is perfectly legal.

Having said that, I am not comfortable with my bulge showing.  In some pants I can get away with a light tuck, but for others, a strong tuck with a pair of shapewear briefs as a gaff is necessary.  There is no way I would be caught out in public in yoga pants.  I'll wear them when I take the garbage out to the end of the driveway, because I can't be bothered to dress up for garbage, but no one sees me then anyway.

There may not be any laws covering this, but people tend to do a 3-point check when trying to figure out someone's gender. First they look at your face, then they look at your chest, then they look at your crotch. If people see a bulge in an unexpected place, all sorts of things could happen. It's up to you whether that's something with which you'd be comfortable. Sadly, I doubt many people would react positively.

As for (cis) women showing camel toe... most people would feel grossed out by that. People generally don't want to see the outlines of someone else's privates if it can be helped, so camel toes tend to be frowned on too! Most women go out of their way to avoid having a camel toe; if you're curious, sanitary towels are one of the most common ways of preventing it. ;) If women are displaying an (unavoidable) camel-toe during a yoga class, that's generally because they're in an environment that's mainly geared towards women, and everyone is facing the same direction. So they certainly don't expect anyone to stare at their privates in what they consider to be a safe space... hence the lowering of their guard.

Incidentally, there are clothes you could wear that would allow you to go untucked without any visible bulge (e.g. certain types of skirts and shirts).

Okay. Wonderful to know! Thank you for the information! I will judge it based on where I am at. Yoga classes are small and they know I am trans so I just go with leggings and a sports bra and if it bulges it bulges, or a late night at the gym, ect. But otherwise I will keep it covered or gaffed just for the purpose of keeping myself proper for societys sake as well as my own.
