Hello everyone!
I'm curious about how many of you sought out medical tattooing on your post-op junk to make the coloring darker/pinker/etc depending upon your complexion. It is certainly something I am considering. For those who have sought it out, are you satisfied with your results? How many sessions did it take? How long after stage 1 did you opt for this?

Also, who here has gotten their donor site tattooed? I'm going to wait a bit longer and start exploring options with a few artists. How well as the color held?

Thanks for those who stopped by to answer these random tattoo related qs based upon their experiences :)

I'm nowhere near bottom surgery planning but I would also love to know if folks have done this. I imagine a cosmetic artist (eyebrows, lips, hair and nipples) would be able to work with you. I think a nipple artist might be your best outcome just because they're already trying to recreate a skin like appearance.

Plastic surgeons sometimes tattoo an area to make it look more natural. This is sometimes done on women with breast cancer who had a mastectomy and lost her nipples and areola as well. There should be no problem with doing the same to a neo phallus.

There's a guy on tumblr getting this done right now, he's only gone for a glans tattoo and says he might get some vein tattoos later but it has been interesting. Though he says it needs a touch up every three years which sounds expensive to maintain but maybe that is normal... I know nothing about tattoos.

I don't see why not, men sometimes do get non cosmetic tattoos on their penises, cosmetic tattoos should be no different.

Nothinghere- when you get your eyebrows tattooed the needle isn't put as deeply into the skin as a non cosmetic tattoo; so 3 years sounds about right. For conventional tattoos they do need to get touched up every couple of years; dependant on amount of sun exposure, if the ink was high quality how expert the tattoo artist was with the needle (amateur tattooists either put the needle too deep into the skin causing 'blow outs' meaning the ink spreads underneath the skin making the lines look too thick and splotchy or they don't put the needle in deep enough causing the ink to fall out) and the colour of the tattoo. You'll notice more so if a tattoo in colour has faded rather than a tattoo in all black.

I wonder why not get a regular tattoo, I've seen some that are capable of really delicate colors (watercolor tattoos come to mind), and I don't think a dick is getting much light exposure. Seems like it might save money in the long run.

Pain is a big factor; plus the tattoo probably won't heal as well due to it rubbing against clothing. And tattoos without a black outline will look like a splotchy mess very quickly. Watercolor tattoos will look great for a few years but then the colours will run together making it look like you have a bruise.

If it is all skin tones and not yellows/pinks/purples then maybe the bleeding together wouldn't matter so much/look bruise-like.

Buy I didn't think about the clothes thing... How long does it take tattoos to heal? Maybe you could temporarily join a nudist colony  ;D :P ;D

Yeah you're probably right;  but unfortunately many people do get watercolour tattoos in those colours because it looks so good when freshly done :P

It only takes around 2 weeks for a tattoo to heal and during that time you have to be careful of not scratching the new tattoo, accidentally pulling of blisters as this will take some of the colour out of the tattoo or soaking it in water.

And definitely, any excuse  ;) ;D
