I want to share a positive misgendering experience that makes me smile inside and outside - and that doesn't happen often.
I travel a lot on business, and when I get scanned at airport security, more often than not, the machine flags me as female, even though I am not overtly presenting as fem. Also on aircraft I often get ma'amed. I reckon they get sensitivity training here in Europe, so they err on the safe side.
It gives me such a rush when it happens. Wish it were all day, every day, every time. I guess that should tell me something's about where this journey should go, right?
