Glad you had a good experience!
Yeah. That price is something I'll never get used to. The most expensive 15 minutes I'll ever (willingly) spend.
I just have to remember that I'm paying for the equipment and tech's experience.
It's not about how long it takes to tinker, but knowing where to tinker. The old Henry Ford- Knowing where to tinker homily.
"Nikola Tesla visited Henry Ford at his factory, which was having some kind of difficulty. Ford asked Tesla if he could help identify the problem area. Tesla walked up to a wall of boilerplate and made a small X in chalk on one of the plates. Ford was thrilled, and told him to send an invoice.
The bill arrived, for $10,000. Ford asked for a breakdown. Tesla sent another invoice, indicating a $1 charge for marking the wall with an X, and $9,999 for knowing where to put it."
Also the contrast to the amount of time spent under the electrolysis needle on an hourly rate doesn't help. Logically I think we know that the end result is what's important, but I still can't help but feel I'm getting ripped off. Then again I remind myself that I also just paid to avoid several hours of pain and personal time under the needle for a similar outcome.
