Juju,
Just because we went to the same surgeon and seem to have similar concerns, thought I would share what other ffs surgeons said/recommended. Note that I started seeking consultations after 6 months Post op my forehead feminization. Also I didn't provide these surgeons any specific requests/concerns, just asked their recommendation on what would further feminine my face.
Surgeon 1: "We think we can help you with the forehead and orbital rim remodeling, Your first surgeon did an insuficient surgery. That area is the most important in your face.
We can do something more with your jaw if you want, but it does not look masculine at all.
Surgeon 2: "Are you sure that the contouring of your forehead was done with the technique called "reconstruction", like you wrote? Wasn't it a "shaving" or "burring"? . If there were anything to correct, it could be the area of the orbital rims, which sit a bit low above the eyes, and could be shaved from below to open up the gaze. The central area of the bossing between the eyes could be given a further setback.
Surgeon 3:"
Dr. X have seen you photos and he commented that most of the facial features are already feminine so he only recommends the following procedures
Most important procedure
Forehead/ brow ridge bone contouring, the price is abc
From the pictures, the male brow bone bossing is noticeable over the orbital rim and lower part of forehead. The forehead/ brow ridge bone contouring is highly recommended to contour the male brow bone bossing in order to achieve a naturally smooth & round feminine forehead.
Besides these 3, 6 more surgeons thought my forehead needed more work/improvement. I didn't tell any of them that I wasn't happy with my forehead, their recommendation was based on the visible brow bossing.
I definitely am a bit disappointed in my ffs surgeon as I feel like I paid the premium price but didn't get a result worth the price.
