Rachel

I am post op 6.5 months, 54, soon to be 55 and soon to be divorced. I had FFS and look 15 years younger.  My Ex  will move out after the divorce is final and she receives funds from my retirement accounts. I am 6.5 months post op and have a BA scheduled 7/12/17. It has been 24 years since I was single.

I want a male partner and experience penetrative sex from a male. I would be open to a female partner provided we can experience relations including penetrative sex. I really want a partner I can share and feel whole with and be treated as a "whole person" and want to be with me and not ashamed of me.

So where do I start? There were a few suggestions like:
on-line (where)
volunteering a Philly Aids Thrift
bars
queer hiking
queer meet up

Any suggestions would be welcome, thanks.

I'm in about the same boat as you, just a bit older (61), not the greatest age to be going back into the dating scene.

I've tried the online dating with mixed results. Being upfront about being trans really reduced the number of hits I got and revealing that on the first meetup hasn't worked all that well either.

I'm currently trying the restaurant/bar scene. I've meet some nice people and had some fun times, but no dates yet.
Currently looking at the community college and adult non-credit courses for cooking, decorating, gardening.... with the hopes of meeting a lot of people.

Now I remember why I didn't like the dating scene back in my younger days, oh well, it is what it is.

Best of luck
