I didn't even know there was a such thing as an outie for many years. First time I saw one, I though something was wrong   ???

You know, I refer to clothes as innie's and outties.

Eg, Boots cut jeans, are outtie pants, designed for innie shoes.
I realy make a fuss about it too.

Dad, cant you just put these boots on.
Me, No dad they're outties, I need innies. Dont think he will ever get it.

(Biting finger not to say what I want to) I started out as an outie only to transition to an innie. By surgery? No by extra padding. (I sense a pattern in my life.) My brother is a 'withoutie' does he count?

Anyone have a bellybuttonoplasty?

I'm an innie, though I was less of an innie when I was less of a tubby. 

Can the method of cutting and tying the umbilical cord make a difference?  I think I recall that in old National Geographics, outies were common and sometimes pronounced in some cultures.
