Hi Adele

There are 3 phases to hair growth and understanding how this works is the best way to gauge how well laser is working for you.

In most cases the recommendation is once every 4 weeks or so because of the hair life cycle. Laser can only kill the hair in its "growing Phase" when it is dying off in preparation for replacement of the hair it cannot be killed by laser.   This is why most places will not recommend any sooner than once every 4-6 weeks...my understanding is that as long the hair is active then it can be killed. Each hair may take more than one "pass" to kill it permanently.

I am sure you could have it every two weeks but it takes 10 - 14 days for a proper shedding to occur. So you would likely just be zapping dead hairs if you do it too often...most notice a significant difference around the 4th or 5th treatment.

Hope that helps
