A lot of people come here looking for photos of the various surgeries. My question is:  Have you, or will you be putting your post-op or before and after photos on the internet?

I'm not shy or a prude, but I haven't, nor do I intend to post any pictures of my genitals online.

What say you?

I've looked at thousands of photos at this point and I'm grateful to those who post them, but I couldn't bring myself to do it. I'll do something else to help people instead.

Who would want to look at a 36 year old obsolete stage 1 surgical result. Nobody would learn much from it that would apply to the current surgeries and besides that, I never took a before picture. Remember in those days we didn't have digital camera and we sent the film off to be processed. Often if the processor found dirty pictures, they wouldn't return them to you. What they did with them, I don't know but they claimed they destroyed them. I suspect somebody had a bedroom with all those dirty pictures pinned to the wall but we will never know.

I have sent my surgical results to several people here and I don't have problems with doing it. It has certainly helped some individuals make more informed decisions

Too old to be a porn star. But I do send pics to my admirers. >:-)

I have watched the video of my throat being removed. I'm pretty sure only a limited group of people would want to see it and definitely not one for the internet.

I'm the kind of curious person who'd watch that. I asked for a video of my abdominoplasty, but wasn't allowed to have a copy [emoji853].

As to the OP,  I've thought alot about this, and I'd be happy to share my GRS pictures with those who ask. I have no issue with privacy, but even I have concerns about those images going around the Internet forever!

The poll results are interesting.

I have pics in stages from all my procedures. I was thinking about compiling them with a few words and setting them free.

For medical purposes yes I have posted online on Transbucket (although it's search engine is severely broken now, but the direct link works.)

I voted yes.

Now a small explanation...

I don't mind sharing my pre and post op GRS photos, as well as any other pre and post transitioning photos. However I will only do this for educational purposes when someone asks, who is also transgender and wants to compare results or like to see the outcome before deciding to go with it. Most likely in a PM or on a secured closed forum.

I have also posted a few pictures documenting my GRS on a closed forum where a lot of medical people are on.

I also signed a release with my surgeon to show my photos to patients, again for educational purposes.

None of those GRS pictures show my face, however I know that just about anyone can add 1+1 together and find my face somewhere anyway. :)

I have showed printed pictures to one co-worker who is censoriously interested in my transitioning and very accepting/supporting.

That's about it.

I wouldn't mind sharing my experience with my surgeon online for other potential patients who are curious, but I'm definitely not comfortable sharing photos of myself posf-op, and having people critique and judge my vagina as helpful as it may be.

I have posted my pre- and post-op FFS photos on this site.  I have shared my post-SRS photos by PM with other trans girls, but I'm not sure I would post them online.

I voted yes because I have posted my before & after photos.

But if you want a detailed photo diary of my everyday life, you will be a bit disappointed with me. Some girls just love to pose for the camera and good for them. I prefer a bit more privacy.

I'm sorry but that view is for my GF only :)

I thought about it many times. For the internet - no, for the specific person who needs help - yes.
  •

Sleepydf

I'm gonna be willing to post mine.

Mine are visible in one of the blog sites I use and I've sent images of my results at various stages to a half dozen Susan's members.

Also my electrologist took photos at about my 6 month post-op point and asked if she could display them at the most recent First event (tcne). I gave her the ok and as far as I know she did.

But then I've participated in a local ameteur porn event ..  granted I was 15 years younger, so I was a 47yo pornstar ;-)
