Hello,

I am pre-op, impatiently patiently waiting for my date for GRS. My Surgeon will be Dr. Brassard in Montreal. My paperwork was sent to pre-op team in Feb/17. I find the closer i get to my date, the stronger the  gender dysphoria gets. So annoying feeling things get hard down their every time you have arousing thoughts of "sausage" adventures. If you know what I mean.

Anyways, I have been on HRT since May 14/15, and the sensitivity down there has been off the charts. I am 39, and was told that "whose name shale not be spoken" would not work, or would be difficult to work with. I still never have an issue getting "ready", and I scream with my orgasm's, I am in an apartment so I try to keep it down, my partner says I sound like a tea kettle.

Is this normal?, and if any of you ladies had this experience pre-op , how did the orgasm's change post-op. please comment especially if you had Dr. Brassard.

Thanks.

Post op is way better if you can get there. It is definitely longer to get there vs pre, but so worth it. I never screamed before and now a light scream came out of my mouth from the intensity. Brassard grad Nov 14.

I'm a Dr Bowers girl... O's consistantly better and longer post op and almost just as easy to get there... It's like an extended ride on the waves!!! :) All will be well and congrats on your upcoming procedure! ..

Onward we go!!!

Some of that depends on surgical results... I had my surgery almost 19 years ago... but I had a lot of clitoral necrosis so lost a lot of nerve endings which did affect things.

I agree with this. I am 4 months post op and while it does take a lot longer to reach an O it is definitely worth it. Imo it is more intense and like a whole body experience hahaha but it takes work to get there.

Both progesterone and a little T post-op have done wonders for my orgasms and the entire experience! Wow!
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

I went to Brassard in 2012, and I'm another who says the orgasm improved post-op (although it's a bit longer and more work to get there, which is typical for women). I was also orgasmic in my sleep at three weeks post-op. :) Brassard is awesome at preserving sensitivity - I had full sensation from the moment I woke up.

I went to Dr. Kunaporn in 2001.  O's are ironically far easier for me to get, last longer, and 'repeat' much quicker.  Its like 1 million percent better than before.  Then again, I didn't care for what I had back then, and what I have now is 'right' for me, so that probably makes a huge difference too.
