I'm having surgery on Sept. 13 and I heard from some post-op women--and I will soon be one!!!!--that your body feminizes more after surgery. It makes sense, since the testes are gone and you no longer need spiro/AA. Is this true? Does your body feminize more? I have a pretty curvy body, so maybe this is a little greedy, but I wouldn't mind a bigger butt and one more cup size. I'm a 34C/32D, so I'm good, but there is a lot of space. With some duct tape I would have fantastic cleavage, but...i'd rather not do that. Just wondering and was wondering what any post-op ladies' experiences were with this?
HRT start: 03.02.2013. GRS (and BA) date: 9.13.2017.

* Thanks Obama! Seriously, without him (and PA Gov. Wolf!) and expanded Medicaid, I would never accumulated the $30,000 needed to to afford surgery.

Post-surgery, my breasts shrank considerably, I lost a lot of weight and feminization was poor. I had to significantly increase my estrogen as a result to get decent results. Several years later, I'm doing quite well, feminization is good, after having my HRT adjusted.

Testes are gone post-op but pre-op, we take anti-androgens/estrogen that render testes useless so in essence, NOTHING changes.
I am not a medical doctor, nor a scientist - opinions expressed by me on the subject of HRT are merely based on my own review of some of the scientific literature over the last decade or so, on anecdotal evidence from women in various discussion forums that I have come across, and my personal experience

On HRT since early 2004
Post-op since late 2005

You'll always have some "T" still being produced in your body.

"Adrenal Glands & Testosterone. . . . The inner core, or medulla, of the adrenal glands produces "stress hormones" like epinephrine--adrenaline--while the outer layer or cortex produces androgens, the family of "male" steroids that includes testosterone. The adrenal glands are a source of testosterone for both men and women.

IDK, I heard there were body changes. Spiro blocks receptors but even at zero free T, I can still get an erection if I try and masturbate, if I want to. I don't because if I do I immediately feel emotionally dead after. It's the worst feeling. It was this was way pre-HRT. I just thought with nothing to stop E that it would result in some, albeit, minimal changes. But, not saying I don't believe KayXo. Just surprised. it's the opposite of what I thought would happen.

Anybody else have poor feminization after surgery? The opposite?

I had to increase my estrogen dose and added progesterone.
Everything is filling out nicely now.
